The 100th day of school is such a fun milestone for kids! Whether you're celebrating in a classroom, homeschool, or just want to make the day feel special at home, these free 100 Days of School printables are an easy way to celebrate without a lot of prep.

I've created several fun 100th Day of School activities that let kids count, color, create, write, and practice numbers to 100. There are different ways to use each printable, so you can easily adapt the activities for different ages and abilities.

The free printable set includes three 100 Days of School hats, a "When I Am 100 Years Old" writing activity, a 100-circle counting page, and two printable 100th Day of School certificates.

One of my favorite ways to celebrate is with a 100 Days of School hat! Kids can decorate their own hat and wear it for their 100th day celebration at school or at home.

I've included three different printable hat designs, so you can choose the one that works best for your child or classroom.

100 Stars Hat

The first printable hat has 100 stars for kids to count, color, and decorate.

Kids can simply color all 100 stars, but there are lots of ways to turn this into a fun counting activity too.

Try having kids:

• Color every 10 stars a different color. By the time they're finished, they'll have used 10 colors to decorate all 100 stars.
• Create a repeating color pattern across the stars.
• Count the stars by 2s, 5s, or 10s as they color.
• Use a crayon or marker to decorate the stars.
• Add a tiny sticker to each star.
• Color groups of 10 stars and practice skip counting to 100.

It's an easy way to sneak a little math practice into a fun 100th Day of School craft.

Decorate Your Own 100 Days of School Hat

The other two printable hats say 100 Days of School but leave plenty of room for kids to decorate them however they'd like.

They can simply color and decorate their hat, or you can turn it into a 100-item challenge!

Have kids add exactly 100 small items to their hat.

Some ideas include:

• 100 stickers
• 100 sequins
• 100 sticker gems
• 100 small pom poms
• 100 beads
• 100 fingerprints
• 100 tiny paper shapes
• 100 pieces of confetti
• 100 mini foam stickers
• 100 drawn hearts, stars, dots, or smiley faces
• 100 colorful marker dots

For younger kids, try separating the items into 10 groups of 10. This makes counting to 100 much more manageable and gives kids a visual way to see that ten groups of ten equals 100.

How to Make the 100 Days of School Hat

Print the hat template on regular printer paper or cardstock. Let kids color and decorate the front of the hat before cutting it out. For younger kids, they may not need all of the paper strips, so keep that in mind when decorating.

Cut out the hat and the included strips. Staple or tape a strip to each side of the hat, then wrap the strips around the child's head. Adjust the size and staple or tape the strips together in the back.

That's it! Their 100 Days of School hat is ready to wear.

Tip: If you're doing this activity with an entire class, print the templates ahead of time and have kids decorate them at their desks. An adult can help staple the hats together once they're finished.

It's always funny to hear what kids think life will be like when they're 100!

The next free printable is a 100 Days of School writing activity with the prompt:

"When I am 100 years old..."

Kids can finish the sentence and write about what they imagine they'll be like at 100 years old. The page includes primary writing lines along with a space to draw a picture of themselves at age 100.

Younger kids can have an adult write for them, or they might write just one or two sentences, while older kids can add more details.

If they aren't sure what to write, ask them questions like:

• What will you look like when you're 100?
• Where will you live?
• What will you like to do?
• Will you have any pets?
• What will the world be like?
• What will your family look like?

And, of course, don't forget to have them draw themselves at 100 years old!

This would be such a fun page to save and look back on years later.

The next printable is one of those 100th Day of School activities that you can use in so many different ways.

The page includes 100 circles, giving kids a hands-on way to practice counting all the way to 100.

Write the Numbers 1–100

Have kids write one number inside each circle until they've written all of the numbers from 1 to 100.

For younger kids, you can work one row at a time and stop after each group of 10 to count together.

Count 100 Small Objects

Place one small object on each circle until you've counted all the way to 100.

You could use:

• Cheerios
• Cereal pieces
• Mini marshmallows
• Small crackers
• Pom-poms
• Buttons
• Beads
• Small blocks
• Coins
• Mini erasers

Using a snack like Cheerios makes this especially fun because kids can eat their 100 pieces when they're finished!

Use Dot Markers

Grab a dot marker and let kids stamp each circle as they count from 1 to 100.

You can also switch colors every 10 dots. This creates 10 groups of 10 and is another simple visual way to help kids understand how 100 is made.

Make 100 Fingerprints

Instead of dot markers, use washable paint or an ink pad to make 100 fingerprints.

Kids can count each fingerprint as they add it to the page. You could even have them turn some of their fingerprints into tiny bugs, faces, flowers, or other pictures afterward.
