      Step-by-Step Instructions:

      1. Choose Your Jar and Decorations: First, let the kids pick their decorations—they can go wild choosing mini figurines, sparkly glitter, and other fun items. This makes each snow globe totally unique!

      2. Glue Down the Scene: Use hot glue to secure the figurines to the inside of the lid. Make sure they’re solidly attached so they don’t float later. Let the glue dry completely—this part tests everyone’s patience!

      3. Add Water and Clear Glue for Snow Magic: Add about 2 tbsps or more of clear glue, then fill the jar almost to the top with distilled water. The glue helps the glitter fall slowly, giving it that magical snowfall look.

      4. Sprinkle in the Glitter: This is the part kids love most—adding glitter, faux snow, or tiny beads to make their scene sparkle. Get ready for a little mess, but it’s worth it! Add a bit more water after that.

      5. Seal It Tight: Place a thin layer of hot glue around the rim of the globe, then press the inner lid (the one with the figurine scene on it!) upside down, into the water and onto the hot glue. Then screw on the cap nice and tight! For extra leak-proofing, add a ring of hot glue around the edge.

      6. Shake and Enjoy: Turn the jar over, give it a gentle shake, and watch the wintery magic unfold. It’s like your own mini snowstorm in a jar!

Why Your Kids Will Love This Craft:

      • Sensory Fun: The gentle, sparkly “snowfall” inside the globe is calming to watch—perfect for those quiet moments.

      • Instant Holiday Cheer: Nothing says festive like homemade snow globes, and kids feel proud seeing their work on display.

      • Memory-Making Together: Crafting together creates holiday memories that stick. You might even make this a yearly tradition!
